  • He had given a letter to lord Irwin in jan 1930 with demand of 11 things for reducing tax from it.
  • he demanded most common one of them salt bcz salt is common for rich and poor hence for support of all people
  • he had given time upto march11
  • No any rxn from colons so gandhi started salt march
  • he had reached to dandi on 6th april and boil sea water and take out salt & break law of colons
  • so from their CDM started
