The Germans were responsible for the hellish life in which the Franks survived. Anne wrote on her diary that Germans and Jews were one of the greatest enemies of the world. Though the Franks were fortunate to hide themselves from the tortures of the Germans, their life in the Secret Annex was no less than a hell. They had to survive in a miserable condition. They had no private bathrooms. They lived in crowded rooms. They ate very less and often ate the same thing everyday. They got to eat some good food occasionally. They put off old and torn off clothes. Their life was no bad than the jews who were taken to the concentration camps. However, they survived anyhow in such a terrible condition.
