Answer:

Tibetan refuses have fled to India for the past 60 years.

Our Government of Mysore, in the year 1960 has allotted an area of nearly 3000 acres, at Bylakuppe in Mysore district in Karnataka. This is the first ever Tibetan exile settlement. After a few years another settlement called as Tibetan Dickey Larson, also called as TDL was also established.

Answer:

Government of India gave 3,000 acres of land to Tibetans near Bailahongala in Karnataka. These days, Tibet is everywhere and its images are being extensively used to sell insurance. The Dalai Lama’s face display on billboards promotes computers and there are countless Tibetan exhibitions and festivals. However, Tibet as an issue in global politics has gone nowhere and China’s leaders lose no sleep over Tibet.
