Answer:
India helped in establishing the Tibetan exile settlement. The government allotted 3000 acres of land at Bylakuppe in Mysore district in Karnataka. it was the first exile settlement of Tibetan into existence in 1961.
After some time TDL came into existence following this, three more settlement came into existence. In Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh other Tibetan refugee community came into existence.
