Green revolution was achieved by following three basic elements, which are:-
1. Continued expansion of farming.
2. Double cropping in a year means instead of one crop season in a year there will be two crop seasons in a year.
3. Using seeds with superior genetics means plants with high yield and quality.
M.S. Swaminathan is a father of green revolution.
