How did groffin make himself completely invisible at coach and horse inn?

when mrs hall had become very angry because griffin was not paying his rent for the room he became very exhausted and tired and finally decided to show them all what actually he was and so he opened his hat coat gloves and all the bandages that he had wrapped around his body and then they all saw that he actally is invisible and after opening all the accessories he beacuse completely invisible at the coach and horse inn.

Griffin made himself gradually invisible at the Coach and Horses. First he revealed his invisibility by ripping off the bandage of his head. But later Hall came in with Jaffers and when Jaffers tried to handcuff him, he stayed calm and agreed to surrender without wearing a handcuff. Taking advantage of the situation Griffin got rid of his shoes, socks and trousers and then his coat and shirt and rendered himself completely invisible.
