Explanation: The Missing Buns

• Mother Bustle used to bake buns every Saturday for Plod Along who was her brother.
• Grumple Goblin who used to live next door was aware of the fact that she would keep the buns on the windowsill to cool them and go for nap.
• He used steal some buns as he found them very tempting.
• Initially she could not figure it out but when Grumple took away four buns she was a bit surprised.
• She could understand that someone is stealing her buns.
• She was pretty sure that Mr Hoo- Ha who resided on the right side of her wasn`t the person.
• Grumple was also out of her list of suspect as he was a very well mannered boy.
• To find the person who was stealing it she came up with a plan.
• She kept the bun to cool once again but this time she applied some  magic glue on it.
• Grumple just like previous occasion took the bun from the windowsill but could not get the bun out of his hand.
• The buns got stuck to his hand which was later removed when we went to Billy the goat to eat them.
• But he could feel the stickyness in his hands.
• He went to his sister Artful Goblin for some help.
• On his way he met Plod Along and they both greeted each other by shaking hands.
• As their hands got stuck with  each other they decided to go to Mother Bustle for some help.
• Plod Along explained the entire episode to her and seeked her assistance.
• Mother Bustle soon realized that it was Grumple Goblin was the person who was stealing her buns.
• She questioned about the stealing of buns to Grumple who initially did not admit but soon gave in and realized his mistake.
• After Grumple admitted his crime Mother Bustle poured some magical water on his hands and soon the stickyness went away.
• Mother Bustle warned Grumple not to steal buns and if he does so his hands would again become sticky like before.
• After this episode her buns never went missing and Grumple learnt his lesson.
