Gulliver displays his artistic skills by constructing a comb for himself from the strands of the king’s hair. With this, his mind thinks of a suitable recreation. He weaves the strands of queen’s hair to make two chairs and presents them to the queen. He also weaves a purse with the name of the queen in gold letters and offers it to Glumdalclitch. As the king holds interest in music, Gulliver projects his own skills by attempting to play a spinet with the help of two wooden sticks. Although Gulliver regrets his skill at managing such a huge instrument, the king and the queen are pleased with his efforts.
