making helen understand love was quite difficult. miss sullivan taught helen about this by saying love is something like the beauty sky and plants after rain. helen got confused. then after some days helen gifted her teacher some flowers at that time miss sullivan spelled the word i love you. so by this she came to know about the meaning of love.
