As a College student, Helen did not really enjoy her initial time. She found the pace of studies to be very quick while she was used to of a more relaxed environment in secondary school where teachers took time to explain each and everything.

In College, teachers were usually not engaging and taught in a hurried manner.

It was only after a few months when she adjusted to the college life, made good friends and had great teachers.

At first, Hellen did not enjoy studying at her college. In secondary school the environment was very casual and relaxed, students were given time to catch up with the studies and the teachers were understanding. Mr. Keith prepared Hellen for college.

Studying at college was different, Hellen found it difficult to catch up with the teachers' pace. She did not enjoy studying. It took her some time to adjust and manage time.

Hellen's first paper was German. She had to sit separately as she had to do it in a typewriter. Mr. Gilman read out the papers to her through manual alphabet sentence by sentence and then Helen repeated it to make sure she had understood.
