Richard’s mother recognised her sons driving curiosity and mental brightness.she always encouraged his interest in learning .She took him on trips. She bought him telescopes, microscopes, cameras and other scientific equipment. When Richard did not have things to do ,she found work for him not physical work, but learning things. The turning point in his life was the day when his Mother gave him a book called ‘The Travels of Monarch X.’ Thus the mother helped Richard a lot in becoming an intelligent scientist.
