Adolf Hitler's rise to power began inGermany in September 1919 whenHitler joined the political party known as the Deutsche Arbeiterpartei – DAP (German Workers' Party). ... Hitler's"rise" can be considered to have ended in March 1933, after the Reichstag adopted the Enabling Act of 1933 in that month.

After the Treaty of Versailles had brought Germany to the ground, all the Germans were humiliated by the terms of the treaty. They wanted justice and revenge. Hitler made use of this situation and exploited it to his advantage. With his shrewd political views and charismatic personality, he won the German people and promised them to revert Germany's condition. The people having no other choice put faith on Hitler. Hitler curtailed individual rights by despising parliamentary system of government and adopting democracy. He concentrated all the power in his hands and suppressed any opposition with fierce brutality so as to promote the superiority of the Nazi party. He condoned the debts of the farmers and introduced schools, industries and reforms. He provided literacy to people of Germany. He also enhanced the military might of the country by giving armaments precedence. Within a good period of time, he rose into power and retrieved Germany's past glory.

Hope this helps you.
