Answer : HIV harms our helper T-lymphocytes and decreases it's number in our body which causes Deficiency of immune system leading to AIDS.

Explanation:

Human immunodeficiency virus(HIV) enters into a normal person's body through body fluids. After entering in the body, the virus invades macrophages and then direct the infected cells to produce virus particles. then HIV enters into helper T-lymphocytes and then there it replicates and produce progeny viruses. These viruses then attack other T-lymphocytes.

This process continues and number of T-lymphocytes decreases and because of this the person's immunity rate decreases and the person is unable to protect himself from normal infections. This deficiency of immune system is called AIDS(Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome).

No, there's no vaccine for AIDS so prevention is the best option.

Hope this will help!
