how did Hogan and burns wanted to enter the house?? (wrong house)

Hogan and Burns had found an empty house in the dark night. They ran towards the house quietly and fell into the dark bushes which was all around the house. When they reached the porch they ran quickly up the steps and knelt down on their knees. In that silence, the men breathed heavily. They were able to lay out a suitcase, from their previous robbery, as there was no body in the house. 
Hogan and Burns decided to buy a car the next day to carry the suitcase of money, but when they went out to purchase the car, the family had come back. Now Hogan & Burns had to come up with a plan to enter the house, so that they could get back the suitcase full of money.
