holi was started by lord Krishna and radha's play......

When the prahalad was seated On fire with the Holika (Holika was an evil). Holika having power that she can't kill by fire. But when she seated with prahalad On fire, she was burn by power. But the prahalad come out safely, then the pratha was named as Holika. Therefore we burn Holika in night. Then the Holi started.
