- Inam commission was established under Bombay rent-free estates act ,1852 in accordance to investigate jagris and inams which passed the territory of the East India company , Act 11 of 1852 was passed.

- Reasons are for the allowances for branches to be preserved , farmers are assigned to certain villages and is to inquire as laid down under the act.

- The conditions of the farmers was horrible and maximum of the estimate of 80 percent of the farmers were belong to Marginal.
