According to Vikram Sood:

Iran is a good friend of India and both share historical relations since ancient times.

When Iran was under sanctions, India defied the world and kept all relations with Iran and made sure Iran did not get hurt by sanctions.

Iran today is a targeted nation even in Islamic world and can still count India as an ally.

Things might change because of Iran’s new found support for Taliban, something which lead to abduction of Kulbhushan Jadhav from Chabahar…though Taliban’s subsequent sell off of Jadhav to Pakistan lead to Mulla Mansoor’s killing and India accessing Chabahar as a port….doubts have crept in.

These doubts soon will be magnified as India and Israel become closer….unless Iran rushes in to repair the damage done.
