Green Revolution provided HYI seeds which helped faster production of crops and other technology like harvestor and stroring facilities helped farmers a lot.

Though the green revolt was a good start but it had setbacks the initial cost was very high thus only well off farmer could have the privilege to use it.

As a result a good result was observed in haryana and Punjab with alomst double the crops but not in other states if the county.
