1. One way to expand their production was by attracting consumers for which they started to advertise their products .
Images of Indian gods and goddesses on the product gave a divine approval to the goods .
2.Advertisement makes product looks desirable.
3.After some time people started to advertise their products in calendars as this was used by everyone ( even the one who could not read ) .
4. Indian producers started the production of yarn rather than fabric to avoid competition with Manchester goods .
5. During the first world war , as British factories got busy in war production , Indian market got a chance to develop and increase their production.
