Jame Mill charectorise history of India into three periods I.e Hindu, Muslim and British .This periodisation has its own problem. It is difficult to characterize an age through religion of rulers as variety of faiths existed simultaneously in these periods. what it shows that faiths of people is not important. It is very unkind that every rulers doesn't provide same faith to all.
