the Jatis become the basis for organising society because at that time this jatis was separated into many people according to their castes and according to their background, occupation and many more .so to avoid the discrimination they develop their own societies.

Many Social groups rose within the caste based society and were categorised an Jatis rather than varnas. They had developed expertise in their occupations. Some of these tribal clans became powerful and were considered as Rajputs. They extend their kingdoms with the help of enormous wealth and power. Many other tribes followed their steps and became ruling classes and rose higher in hierarchy than others.
