Jim Corbett is a world renowned environment conservationist and hunter. He is known for killing man eating leopards and tigers. His favourite companion during all of his hunting trips was his faithful spaniel dog called Robin who he had picked as a weak dog, from amongst a bunch of healthy dogs. The dog was trained to accompany Jim Corbett during hunts of man-eating tigers. Robin assisted Jim almost in all the major hunts. A couple of instances of his training are: Jim trained Robin to follow tracks together with him. So when they entered a jungle, it was Robin who did the tracking. When Corbett missed a kill shot, Robin was trained to distract the enraged animals.
