•Sathya Shodhak Samaj was established in 1873 to provide equal rights to non-brahimin class and women

•This samaj was founded by Pule.In order to build a philosophical base for the movement, he wrote books like 'Gulamagiri' and 'Shetkarayacha Aasud' .

He opend Schools for shudras and girls etc
