In Karnataka 2,5 irrigation are necessary during Kharif and Rabi respectively. At Rajasthan 4 irrigation (500 mm of water) are required during Kharif. The optimum moisture range is from the field capacity to 40% of the availability. At boot stage and grain development, the water requirement is vary important.
