Porus was the king of the Paurava kingdom.

In the Battle of Hydaspes he fought Alexander the Great with vigour.

Porus had set up a great number of traps in order to defeat Alexander the Great but it was to no avail.

It was only after Alexander was quite impressed at how he did not abandon his army that he left his kingdom.

King Porus was responsible for one of the greatest kings in the history, Chandra Gupta Mourya.

He died in the war with the man Eudemus.

After that the son of Porus took revenge for his father with the help of the man Eudemus as well and that is what happened to King Porus and his son.
