Lencho console his family by saying , " Don't be so upset even do this seems like a total loss remember no one dies of hunger " . All through the night he thought of only one help , the help from God .
- Lencho's house was on the crest of a low hill . From that height one could see the river and the field of ripe corn dotted with flowers.
- His wife was preparing the supper , old boys were working in the field and young boys were playing near the house .
- In in the North East use mountains of cloud could be seen approaching.
- Lencho compared big raindrops as ten cent pieces and little ones as five.
- After sometime strong winds begin to blow and along with the rain very large hailstones began to fall.
- After the hailstorm not a single leaf remained on the trees and the corn was totally destroyed.
- Lencho said that a plague of locusts would have left more then the hail storm.
