In the story The Necklace both Mme loisel and her husband had a tough time to manage the lost diamond necklace that they had borrowed from Mme Forestier. To repay the money of the Necklace that they had bought from the shop Mme loisle had to sell his house and they had to live in a room of rent. Mme Loisle had to work as a domestic helper . They hardly get two days of meals as they had to save maximum amount of money to repay the debt.
