Magadha emerge as the most powerful mahajanpada by capturing all the 14 janpads. At that time Dhanananda, the son of Mahapadmananda, the founder of nanda dynasty. Dhanananda killed his father and became the king of whole Magadha.

In about two hundred years, Magadha became the most powerful Mahajanapada. Rivers like the Ganga and Son flowed through it which provided water, improved Transport and helped to make the land fertile.. Also, some forested parts of Magadha provided: Animals like elephants— captured and trained for the army.......
