mahatma Gandhi was the only person who thought of swaraj and led non cooperation movement , civil disobedient movement , salt march and many other steps to fight against British . max people became the follower  of M K Gandhi . and while all the movements he was the leader

and hence M K Gandhi emerged as a mass leader
