During young age freedom for Mandela meant a freedom on a personal level. The freedom to raise a family, and the freedom to earn a livelihood. After gaining experience the freedom meant a lot more to Nelson Mandela.Age and experience made his perspective more wide.

Answer:

Nelson Mandela, when he was young believed that his freedom was to be able to go out and play and meet with his friends and do what he likes without much restrictions, as he grew up his idea of freedom slowly changed, it then turned into the idea that he needed freedom from the oppressive british government, a way to feed his family and get a good income and as he saw the people around him and saw their suffering. He believed that freedom can only be achieved if all his brothers and sisters were free.

I hope it helps!!
