Helen describes thetree as........ 'the tree of paradise' .......because she loved the mimosa tree and it allured her. She loved the fragrance of the tree in full blossom and as she walked into the garden full of mimosa trees, ........she felt the branches that were in full blossom and almost touched the ground. 
She likened this garden to a paradise that was full of mimosa trees...
