Answer:

hey mate.

Montmorency 'contributed ' by creating a ruckus. It was his ambition to came into people's ways and be cursed.

However , Jerome said that Montmorency did not require any encouragement.

He came and sat on the things whenever Harris or George reach out their hand for anything, it was cold damp nose their hands met. He put his leg into the jam and scattered the teaspoons..

The packing escapade was already a messy job and Montmorency‘s contribution made it even more tiresome. He did his level best to be a ”perfect nuisance". He came and sat down on things just when they were about to be packed. According to the narrator. the dog had a belief that whenever Harris or George reached out their hand for anything, it was his cold damp nose they wanted. Montmorency put his leg into the jam and disturbed the teaspoons. He pretended that the lemons were rats and went into the hamper to kill three of them before being hit with a frying pan by Harris.

Answer:

Montmorency was quite a funny dog. He contributed to the packing in his own unique manner. He did not let Jerome, George, and Harris do the packing smoothly. He came and sat down on all things, just when they were wanted to be packed; and he kept poking his nose in everything that was to be packed. Whenever Harris or George reached out their hand for anything, it was his cold, damp nose that they could find. He put his leg into the jam; and he tried to lift the teaspoons; he attacked the lemons pretending them to be rats. He spoiled three of them before Harris could chase him away by hitting him the frying-pan.
