Mosley got inspiration from mendeleev and just changed the law ie initial law was physical and chemical properties are the periodic function of atomic mass and Mosley just changed atomic mass to atomic number by plotting the graph chemical property vs atomic no. and observed a straight line but a curve when plotted against atomic mass so surely the right create goes to mendleev for inspiring mosley
