Mother Theresa was known for her kindness and the devotion to help the poor. Although she is from Macedonia she helped the poor Indians and loved them very much like brothers and sisters. This is why she was famous!! Hope this helps!!

Well, this is just because of her kindness, caring and humble nature. She grew famous as she used to help other especially those who were poor and needy.  She certainly did not do all this just to gain fame it was a source of happiness for her. She became an inspiration for many people out there! All these things add up together to make her famous!!
