The essay was about the death of the three ducklings. Mr. Kessing read the essay before the whole class. He added his own comments in the essay too. There was a change in Mr. Kessing's behavior toward Anne. He didn't give any extra homework to Anne as a punishment of talking in the class. Also, she was allowed to talk in class.
