when Mrs Fitzgerald says that Mrs Pearson was not treated respectfully not only by her son but also by the husband she decide that she would help her. as the Mrs pearson was in fear disharmong in her family which prevent her to take strong steps Mrs Fitzgerald exchange her soul with Mrs Pearson so she got the strength of mind just like the Fitzgerald. so she strongly and refuse to be was in exchanging the soul, Mrs Fitzgerald help her friends so that she can take bold and strong step in order to help her
