Mrs.Pumphrey had a dog named Tricky.Indirectly she was responsible for the dog's illness.She gave him a little extra between the meals i.e Malt,cod-liver oil.etc.. He was not given any physical exercise.So,the dog fell ill and started vomiting also.It made Mrs.Pumphrey so worried that she had to make a frantic call to the veterinary surgeon, dr.herriot for his treatment.

Tricky became very fat and his eyes are red blooded.His mistress thought that he was suffering from malnutrition and she gave him too much due to which he got seriously ill and start vomiting.this make Mrs. pumphrey to make a frantic call to Mr. Herriot.
