How did Nicola and Jacopo face the hardships of life?

at first they lost their father secondly their business got worst and due to which they came on road and had no shelter and food which also made that worse by the rule of Germany due tk wjivh they also took part in the army for removing germany rule and when they came back they saw their sister suffering from tuberculosis of spine for which they need to do odd kinds of jobs and pay the bills of hospital on time ..........

Nicola and Jacopo face the hardships of life as they lost their father who was a singer.They also lost their home.Their sister was facing for spine cancer so they needed money for her operation so, they started working like selling strawberries,polishing shoes ,selling newspaper,etc.
