how did non cooperation movement differs from civil disobedience movement?

Non -cooperation movement (1920)

the Congress under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi decide to start a non cooperation movement which was a non violent movements it was decided that no one should co-operate with the government.

student boycotted school and colleges lower boycotted Lok Court piece Sun refused to pay tax and government servants left government jobs.

the movement become violent in 1922.Twenty two police man where burnt alive by the Satyagraha at Chauri Chaure up when this news restart this is called of the moment

Civil Disobedience Movement(1930)

this movement started with the famous Dandi March Dandi march was Dandi a small village on the seashore in Gujarat and broke the salt law the British government has increased text on salt which was consumed even by the poorest of the poor.

NON COOPERATION ACT

* it was started in 1921

* it was started due to the Rowlatt act, Khilafat movement and  Jallianwala bagh massacre

* in this act rules and regulations were not followed

* Muslims participation was in large numbers

* it stopped due to the Chauri Chaura incident


CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE ACT

* it was started in 1930

* it was started due to the Simon commission, great dept and refusal of the 11 demands made by Lord Irwin

* people broke rules and regulations

* Muslims participation was in lukewarm

* it stopped as it became violent and many congress leaders were arrested
