ANSWER.....

The non cooperation movement spread to the countryside. the following points state its spread:-

1. In Awadh, peasants under the leadership of Baba Ramchandra revolted against the talukdar and the landlords who demanded very high rent and different taxes from them. The decent demand reduction of revenue, abolition of beggar and social boycott of oppressive landlord.

In many places local leaders told peasents that Gandhiji had declared that no taxes where to be paid and land was to be distributed among the poor.

2. In the gudem hills of Andhra Pradesh a militant guerrilla movement spread. The colonial government had close large forest areas which affected the livelihood of the forest people. When the government force them to contribute beggar or free Labour they revolted. Alluri sitarama Raju inspired by Gandhiji's ideas came to the lead them and the gudem rebels attack police station and carried on Gurellia warfare for achieving Swaraj.
