HELLO FRIEND HERE IS YOUR ANSWER _________________________________________________❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

• Since Independence in 1930, Maxico holds elections every six years to elect their president.

• But until 2000, every election was won by a party called PRI. Opposition parties did contest elections, But never managed to win.

• The PRI was known to use many dirty tricks to win elections. The PRI Spent large sum of money in the campaign of it's candidate and booths were shifted from one place to another in the last minute, which made it difficult for the people to caste their votes.

⇒ This question is related to democracy and one of it's features, that is, in a democracy free and fair elections are held. But, Mexico misused this feature of democracy.

⇒ Mexico became independent in 1930. Mexico used to conduct elections every six years in order to elect the President of the country.

⇒ A party know as PRI (Institutional Revolutionary Party) used to win all the elections until 2000.

⇒ Various other parties also contested elections, but they never won because the PRI was famous for using inappropriate practices for winning the elections.

⇒ The teachers in government schools of Mexico also forced the parents to be in favour of the PRI and vote for PRI.

⇒ So, we can clearly see that, Mexico can surely not be called a democracy as a democracy is based on free and fair elections.
