hey dear friend
The peasants, artisans and farmers were those who belong to the Third Estate and had to pay a greater share of taxes. The Nobles collected feudal dues from them. They were bound to provide services to the Nobility or feudal lords.
On the outbreak of the Revolution, these nobles were attacked by the peasants. Their castles were burnt down and the papers which contained the fuedal lords' manorial rights were also destroyed.
hope it helps uh!
