Reactions of People : In large scale, people participated in Civil Disobedience Movement with great zeal. They participated in protest march and manufactured salt. As the movement spread, foreign cloth was boycotted, liquor shops were picketed. Peasants refused to pay revenue and chaukidari taxes.
