The people in India were not United before colonial rule. when the British established their rule in india, they treated the Indians very cruely, they disrespected the people. Due to this many people in India began to think differently. They thought that "if we people don't support for ourselves then no one can come to help us " ,this was their strong intention so they decided........ United we stand and divided we fall..... so due to some of the revolutionaries, vachanakaras, socialist, etc. These people developed the oneness among the people. through their poems, writing, magazines, newspapers, the people thought to be united. by this they created the nationalism among the people. they had that integration to be united. Our national flag, anthem, symbols represent the unity of the people.
