Evelyn did not give up after loss of her hearing power .she was determined to lead a normal life.a famous percussionist Ron Forbes helped her a lot in learning music.he encouraged her to hear music through some other way.she also practice's very hard in listening music through other parts of the body...

He asked her not to listen through ears but try to sense it some other way.
She realised she could feel the higher drum from the west up and the lower one from the west down.
Forbes repeated the exercise and soon availing discovered that she could send certain notes in different part of her body and mind to sounds and vibrations.
She herself explained , "It pours in through every part of my body. It tingles in the skin my cheekbones and even in my hair."
When she played the xylophone she could change the sound passing up the stick into her fingers.
By learning against the drums she could feel the resonances flowing into her body.
On the wooden floor she used to remove her shoes so that the vibrations may passed through her befit and up her legs.
