1. Underground railway system of London was both a blessing and nightmare for the people. Their transportation was made easier but the disadvantages was more than the advantages
2. The people were afraid to travel in underground trains. The passengers smoked pipesand the atmosphere was filled with thick smoke which caused asphyxiation (suffocation)
