A nineteen years old boy named Prashant belonged to Kalikuda, which is located in the coastal state of Odisha.  While he revisited his friend in Erasma on 27 October 1999, the area was knocked by the cyclone. The rain and wind extended for two days and ruined everything. To help the people affected by the cyclone, for orphans he set up a shelter made of polythene and helped the orphans to resettle with foster families or through adoption. In order to remove their loneliness and help them recover he organized matches and made them smile again.
