Because of which the survivors were able to fill their bellies. Prashant also helped by organising groups who cleaned the shelterof filth,vommitting, floating carcasses,and tending the injured . His youth organization gathered utensils and then they deputed children to lie on the sand with these utensils on their stomach so as to communicate with helicopter that they were hungry. This helped them as the helicopter made frequent visits to provide food and water and other basic amenities. Prashant also found many children had been orphaned . He gathered them and put a polythene shelter for them . women were mobilised to look after them . Also to remove the women and children from grief he organized cricket matches for children .
