Professor didn't change himself. he behaved like those old days.

Private Quelch did not change that is he did not learn any lesson . Inpite of being chosen for permanent cook house duties he did not stop exhibiting his knowledge . When he entered the kitchen he began finding faults in unscientific method of peeling potatoes. He considered it as sheer waste of vitamins.
