How did Romans repond to christianity and why did they behaved the way they did?

There a faith became popular with the poor slaves and the people who were dissatisfied with the Roman religion. For the next three hundred (300) years Christians faced cruelty and harassment in the Roman Empire. The Christians found favour when the Constantine, the Byzantine Empire converted to the religion and many churches were made by him. Romans behaved likd this because now Romans were rich and because Romans also need there own popular and flourished culture.

Hope it helps
Have a nice day
